Accreditation demonstrates that a programme, whether it is face to face or eLearning, has met the high standards the PCI expects as the centre of excellence for evidence based training in the Comprehensive Model of Personalised Care. Through setting quality standards and supporting the development of training programmes, we will assist the health and social care workforce to deliver personalised care to individuals, families, and communities.
Applications will go through a rigorous three stage quality assurance process, where they are viewed by at least two professionals with experience in Personalised Care. The full process is expected to take between 3-4 weeks depending on the length of the programme and the amount of content.
Once a programme is accredited it will be listed on the PCI website and you will be able to use the PCI Accredited logo on your programme materials and marketing collateral. The accreditation period is valid for one year, following which there will be a requirement to submit an annual report and any other requested information, as well as a reaccreditation fee in order to receive continued accreditation, subject to approval, and based on a 3 year cycle.
The fee for initial accreditation will be £990 per programme with a re-accreditation fee of £450 payable annually thereafter for the next 2 years. A full submission will be required after three years to ensure that the programmes/courses remain aligned with the evolving landscape of personalised care.
